Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) is a health service provider which delivers an extensive range of accessible health services and health promotion activities to the people of East Gippsland. Over 500 staff access their intranet regularly. However, GLCH’s existing intranet was unwieldy and costly which hindered the fluidity of collaboration and communication. GLCH needed to evolve and meet the changing needs of end-users and SOCO’s Express Intranet built on SharePoint was chosen. GLCH faced several challenges in their existing intranet which resulted in poor user experience, making it an arduous task for users to access essential documents &
resources.

To address the challenges above and ensure a robust solution, SOCO has transitioned GLCH’s intranet to the SharePoint Online platform, leveraging its advanced collaborative features and scalability. Additionally, GLCH was able leverage their existing Microsoft 365 license to implement SharePoint Online, further reducing the cost.
