The Diversity and Inclusion Awards were established by the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of Gavriella Schuster in promoting workplace equity for all. In the SMB (small and medium business) category for the APAC region, SOCO has emerged as one of only two deserving recipients of the 2023 Gavriella Schuster IAMCP D&I Partner of the Year Award, and the company is proud of this achievement. SOCO’s commitment to diversity and inclusion has helped the company achieve remarkable results, including a talent retention rate of over 98% and a gender ratio that has jumped from 18 to 32% over the past few years.
Workplace equity and inclusion are crucial for building a diverse and welcoming workplace. Studies have shown that a workplace that fosters equity and inclusion leads to increased creativity, innovation, and productivity. Achieving workplace equity and inclusion is a continuous effort that requires commitment and action. Over the years, there has been progress in this area, but there is still a long way to go.
According to a report by the World Economic Forum, it will take another 132 years to close the global gender gap. Therefore, it is imperative that more organisations prioritise workplace equity and inclusion and create an environment that fosters diversity and inclusiveness.

“We are thrilled to be recognised for our efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. This award is a reflection of our team who have embraced our values and made SOCO a great place to work. We will continue to strive for greater diversity and inclusion and create a workplace that values all.”
– Simon Forth, SOCO CEO
